Valuable protection and access to health advice

Your Fintilect benefits package includes the following in addition to the pension scheme contributions. Please also check below for downloadable information about how to access certain of these benefits.

Life Assurance

All Staff are covered for 4 x basic salary, without health evidence. If you have not completed it already, please download and complete the expression of wishes form and send to Richard Glover. This form allows the Trustees of the Scheme to pay any death benefits without delay and to the person(s) you choose. This is provided to all Staff up to State Pension Age, and without charge to you.

Members should review their death benefit nomination record with the Company at least bi-annually, or at any time when a change of personal circumstances personal occurs.

This is with AXA and provides comprehensive cover for you and your Family, provided you specifically and separately advise your HR Manager of you wish to be a member of the AXA Healthcare Plan, including providing full details of your immediate family members you wish to also cover (this means full name, date of birth and home address). The Vitality Healthcare Plan at Fintilect has no application form.

Our AXA Healthcare Plan is operated on a medical history disregarded (MHD) basis. MHD cover means that, as a member, you are insured for any illness or ailment that requires treatment, regardless of your medical history (chronic conditions may be excluded). This is a very valuable facet of our Healthcare Plan and all Members are able to retain this full cover even when leaving the employment of Fintilect at any time in the future, provided the individual Member continues with his / her own personal Vitality Healthcare Plan at that time.

There is a small tax charge from HMRC, based upon the premium paid by your Employer on your behalf. This tax charge is very much lower than if you paid for your own private healthcare policy and so it is always very worthwhile you joining the Healthcare Plan at Fintilect.

It is the responsibility of the Member to advise HR of the full family details mentioned above and your wish to join the AXAHealthcare Plan. Membership cannot be automatic, it has to operate only upon your own request to your HR Manager.

Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

This provides all Staff with valuable confidential assistance and advice in connection with personal matters concerning stress, health, financial concerns, legal advice and many other matters. Unlimited telephone counselling is provided and also up to 4 face-to-face counselling sessions, without charge (per subject matter). This is provided to all Staff and without charge to you. Best Doctors

This offers you access to a second opinion about any illnesses and diagnosis. In addition, you are able to locate the experts in the field for whatever illness for which you need advice or treatment. This is provided to all Staff and without charge to you.
